Internal Quality Assurance Cell

IQAC

The college established an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) on the 15th of June, 2017. The CASC’s IQAC plays a vital role in ensuring that the organization satisfies basic requirements and pursues excellence and ongoing improvement in all aspects of its operations. It acts as a driving force for positive change and assists the institution in remaining relevant and effective in a dynamic educational landscape. The primary objective of IQAC is to ensure and enhance the quality of education, administrative and support services, and overall institutional functioning.

Mission

The mission of the IQAC of the College is:

  • To establish standards and ensure that the quality is maintained.
  • To disseminate knowledge using the available resources to make the students excel in their academic pursuits.

Aims

  • To promote a culture of quality consciousness and continuous improvement, for maintaining high academic standards in teaching, research, and assessment.
  • To actively engage with all stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, and the community, to ensure their participation in the quality enhancement process, while facilitating the adoption of innovative teaching and assessment methods.
  • To promote the holistic development of students by integrating co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
  • To instill a global perspective in teaching, learning, and research to prepare students for a diverse and interconnected world.

Objectives of the IQAC

  • To coordinate and integrate the activities of the college through an effective system of communication.
  • To conduct internal audits of various departments to ensure quality.
  • To collect feedback regarding the policies of the college from the stakeholders.
  • To ensure the availability of adequate infrastructure and resources to support academic and research activities.
  • To prepare Annual Quality Assurance Report

Functions of IQAC

  • Ensures that quality education is offered effectively and efficiently.
  • Conducts internal and external academic audits of the departments to improve quality.
  • To foster collaboration with the community and industries to align academic programs with real-world needs.
  • Documents the progress and setting up of various programs/activities conducted in the institution.
  • To work towards achieving and maintaining accreditation from recognized accreditation bodies.
