The Department of Management Studies in association with the Sports Club of Cochin Arts and Science College successfully organized the Inter-Departmental Chess Competition on Friday, 1st August 2025 at the Seminar Hall. The event began at 10:00 AM, bringing together some of the most talented minds from across departments for an intense display of strategy, focus, and skill.

With a registration fee of just ₹50 per participant and a 1st Prize of ₹1000, the competition attracted enthusiastic participation. Players battled it out across multiple rounds, each move bringing them closer to victory.

After an engaging series of matches, Adarsh D.K from S3 BCA, Department of Computer Application, emerged as the Chess Champion 2025, showcasing exceptional tactical thinking and composure under pressure.

The event was a true celebration of mental strength, sportsmanship, and the timeless game of chess, leaving both participants and spectators inspired.
