“Food Standards Save Lives”
On 7 June 2023, World Food Safety Day aims to promote prevention, detection, and management of foodborne risks, enhancing food security, human health, economic prosperity, agricultural production, market access, tourism, and sustainable development.
Cochin Arts and Science College’s Department of Food Technology and Quality Assurance is planning to mark World Food Safety Day 2023 with a community outreach initiative in Marine Drive, Cochin. The initiative will feature flash mobs, street play, and demonstrations of food adulteration tests by CASC students.
