On 11th October 2023, the Department of Food Technology and Quality Assurance, Food Safety Department, and IQAC organized a Water Quality Test Camp at Cochin Arts and Science College, Manakkekadavu, in honor of World Food Day 2023. The event, organized by the JCI, provided free water quality testing services for the public, including pH, ORP, and TDS tests. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of water quality in food safety and health, and to provide valuable support to the community in Manakkekadavu. The Panchayat President’s involvement and the public’s active participation made the event a significant step towards promoting safe and sustainable food production and consumption.
