The Department of Microbiology organized a field visit for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-year students, accompanied by three faculty members, to Plan@Earth for a workshop on Mangrove Conservation and Restoration.
The workshop offered valuable insights into the ecological importance of mangroves, their critical role in biodiversity preservation, and practical approaches to sustainable restoration. By combining academic knowledge with hands-on conservation practices, the program provided students with a deeper understanding of environmental sustainability.
